Can I use my insurance benefits?
You can claim the cost of any of my services from most insurance policies if you have Physiotherapy benefits.
At the end of your appointment you can pay with cash or credit card. You will receive a receipt which you can use to claim back the funds from your insurance provider.
Some insurance companies will only reimburse Physiotherapy appointments if you have been specifically referred to Physiotherapy by a Physician. You can just call your insurance provider to check on this. If you have any specific questions about this, please get in touch.
Payment for all services is due at the time of delivery. This is to say that I don’t directly bill any insurance company. I will provide receipts and any other documentation your provider requires, but you will need to pay up front and reclaim the amount from your insurance provider.
Do I need a referral from my Doctor?
Physiotherapy is a self-regulated profession and you do not require a doctor’s referral to see me as a Physiotherapist. This applies to all of the services I offer.
If you plan to reclaim the cost of the appointments from an insurance provider they may require you to have a Doctor’s referral in order to claim back the funds. To check on this just give your insurance provider a call.
Do you take OHIP, WSIB or MVA?
I don’t directly bill any third party including OHIP, WSIB or MVA. Payment for my services is due at time of delivery.
What will I need?
Just some comfortable clothing. If you’re a runner please bring your running shoes.
If you have other questions that have not been answered here please do get in touch.
